* Meteobridge wird ausschließlich über den Browser bedient, man muss keine separate Administrationssoftware auf dem PC installieren.

* Meteobridge kann im LAN und WLAN arbeiten.

* Unterstützte WLAN-Betriebsarten sind: 802.11n, 802.11g, oder 802.11b.

* Die gebräuchlichen WLAN-Verschlüsselungsarten werden untertützt: WEP, WPA, WPA2.

Aufgrund der Charakteristik der Meteobridge-Plattform können einige Merkmale ausgeschlossen werden:

* Da die Hardware nur 4 MB an Flash und 32 MB RAM anbietet, werden keine großen Applikationen auf dieser Hardware möglich sein. Das Erstellen von Grafiken auf der Meteobridge ist daher nicht zu erwarten oder geplant.

* Meteobridge kann Wetterdaten nicht in relevantem Umfang lokal speichern. Die lokale Speicherung beschrnkt sich auf die jeweils zuletzt von der Station ausgelesenen Daten plus einige wenige kumulierte Werte für den aktuellen Tag, den Monat, das Jahr.
