Meteoplug allows to feed weather data to a broad range of Internet weather networks. As Meteoplug server gets data from clients at a shortest interval of 10 minutes, sending data more often than every 10 minutes to weather networks does not make sense and is not supported. Table below lists supported weather networks and provides a link to these, where you can further information what the weather network can do for you. To have Meteoplug feeding the network you simply have to select it by setting the check mark near the weather network's name. In most cases you also have to provide also an ID an password which will be given to you when registering at a certain weather network. Depending on weather network data is provided by one of three modes:
You can specify upload intervals from every 5 seconds of up to every hour, when you want to keep your outgoing traffic low. Meteobridge makes use of "rapid fire mode" of Weather Underground when data is sent more than once a minute.
+
* '''Pull''': Data is provided at a certain location at "http://www.meteoplug.com/wnet/xxx/yyy" (where "xxx" is your Meteoplug user name and "yyy" is the file name of generated weather data). Weather networks looks at this location from time to time to read actual weather data of your station. Usually, you have to define the location where to grab your data when setting up an account at the weather network.
 +
* '''Push''': Data is actively transmitted at the given interval to the weather network. This is mostly done by HTTP get request but can also be plain socket connections. In both cases sending station has to identify itself by an ID and password, which will be selected when setting up an account at the weather network.
 +
* '''E-Mail''': Data is send by an email to weather network. Authentification can be done by sender address and or other credentials in the mail.

==Selection of Sensors==
The Weather network icon on the right is clickable and does bring you to the weather network's home page where you can assign for an account and when you are already listed there the link might directly lead to your account and display of data you have uploaded so far.

As Meteoplug can handle a lot of sensors from different stations you have to define which sensors to use for reporting data to weather networks. simply select sensor IDs from drop-down lists. As a minimum set "outdoor temperature", "outdoor humidity", "pressure" and "wind" need to assigned to valid sensor IDs. Otherwise weather networks will not accept data.
When you press "Save" your settings are stored permanently and Meteobridge does test for all weather networks with valid upload intervals, if the weather network accepts your credentials a green mark will be displayed beside user ID and password of the corresponding weather network. If credentials are not accepted, weather network will be marked with red crosses beside user ID and password.

==Upload Frequency==
Additionally selected networks will remain visible inside the web interface as long as they have a upload schema defined. When upload is disabled the network will disappear from the web interface and needs to be selected by the drop-down box again, when you want to use it. This helps to keep not needed entries away from the web interface and prevents you from scrolling long list with items you don't need.

==Examples== <!--T:10-->

Meteoplug supports upload frequencies up to every 10 minutes. Available frequencies are 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours.
This section gives some examples about weather networks already included into Meteobridge beside Weather Underground.

===Meteoplug Cloud Graphing===
+
Meteoplug cloud service is not a traditional weather network, but a data graphing and presentation serivice dedicated to your individual demand. When you connect your Meteobridge with this service, every single piece of information delivered from your weatherstation is stored in the cloud and can be used for generating user-defined graphs. None of the existing weather networks does store that huge amount of data and none provides you with customizeable graphing option of that magnitude. You might inspect [http://www.meteoplug.com meteoplug.com] and visit the gallery to get an impression what Meteoplug can do with your weather data.
+
Feeding data to Meteoplug cloud servicve is easily done by selecting an upload interval (full detail weather data from your station is bundled to buckets and then uploaded in one transfer chunk to Meteoplug) and a live data interval that defines update speed of Meteoplug's dashboard for live data inspection. When you provide a station name, that name will be used to show your station on the [http://www.meteoplug.com/cgi-bin/meteochart.cgi?draw=79757a776920306d0e763b272b2426 map] of stations using Meteoplug.<br>
